I have two or three Merz B. Schwanen tees and a Mr. Freedom tee... some band tees. Apart from underwear absolutely everything else is IH. Socks included.

I reached the point some years ago of thinking "why bother looking anywhere else".

I stand corrected, I actually have two Merz B. Schwanen tees in their 14oz and a few band shirts too.

@Oaktavia In terms of my personal/casual wardrobe I'm maybe 50/60% there. doubt that will get much higher. Some of the things that I like are not offered by IH, wool knitwear for example (please correct me if I'm wrong). For denim, I don't see myself buying anything else for the foreseeable future. Plus, I don't want to give up on my band shirts

I’ve gotten to the point where I wear almost all IH jeans — I still have a few other pairs that I find interesting and cool (RMC, Momotaro, Samurai, Ooe) but frankly I don’t think I’ll buy many (if any) other brands of jeans from here on out. I just like IH’s stuff infinitely more.

With shirts and tees etc, it’s a much more mixed bag. I’ve got a bunch of Merz stuff, I+W and Buck Mason tees that I’ve worn into the ground, plus I wear a lot of Oxford type shirts like Gitman Vintage etc. I really like Seuvas too.

I don’t think I could ever go one brand — some days I feel like being a decked out IH guy, but probably more often than not I like to mix and match.

@Tago-Mago an IH wool sweater would be fantastic. Heimat’s currently my favorite go-to for that. Andersen is cool but I def find it a bit itchy.

Overbuilt, heavy IH crewneck sweater tho? Yes please.

@popvulture Agreed, either shetland or merino would be fantastic. Polos without branding would also be great. Professional attire is one area where IH obviously isn't particularly well represented in my wardrobe with the exception of one pair of chinos

@popvulture it would have to be 100% wool to get my attention and about 95% of all "wool" includes some form of poly now such that the quality isn't as good as decades ago. I think it would be hard for them to get the quality they want. Even Real McCoys is using poly in their wool sweaters.

I'm about 90% IH myself in non beach/ out in the heat clothing. Have a couple jackets and Tees that aren't IH...

Sometimes I'm curious about another t shirt or maybe a Dehen wool sweater...

Hot ass summer and outside....I find Freenote shorts and linen shirts to be on point!

@Oaktavia It happend to me as well. But my approach is less about brand and more about best of breed.
Materials and construction will always be the deciding factors. And since Iron Heart is Iron Heart, inevitably my wardrobe is becoming 85% IH dominant. But i.e. on the loopwheel front I just like MbS way more (plus it's made in EU and I want to support local production). On the knitting front Dehen seems to rule the world for me in fashion and I have Swedish Woolpower brand for technical stuff.

I have to mention in light of above responses, that I am not self-sabotaged the way some of you guys are, in that I need no beach clothing, nor do I need to differentiate between casual and professional attire

I would @goosehd but since I spoke to H in Hamburg about this and he pretty clearly said ‚no‘ I‘m not so optimistic anymore. But you know … gotta fight for your right … for a decent PJ.

I think the inclusion of sweat shorts and pants in the offerings is about as close as you’ll ever get to pjs. I might add I think those are pretty good options for that purpose as long as you keep the ac cranked up in the summer.

I still HAVE clothes from other brands. But I don’t wear any of ‘em. Except for tee shirts, I pretty much exclusively wear IH at this point.

I have found myself totally converting my wardrobe over the last couple of years.
Bottoms, full IH. Flannels and shirts in general as well.
A far as 'quality' clothing is concerned, there's the occasional Merz tee and Andersen wool sweater, but that's about it. Oh and, jackets from other brands of course.

In the 'cheap' category nothing will replace my music/automotive t-shirts, though.

I’m also at about 90% all IH all the time. Just a smattering of items from other brands that ,as time goes on,get worn less and less.

I do plan on picking up a sweater when my wife and I head to Iceland this summer before Gosport. So there is that...maybe I'll get one with a puffin on it. The extras in a few Sigur Ros videos make me green with envy with sweater envy.
