Thinking about picking one of these up second-hand! This fabric looks so lovely. How is it in hotter weather? living in Texas so wondering if I can wear in 70 or 80 degrees

Mine gets no wear in the 70’s. This one lives in the winter wear section of my shirt closet.

It’s just a pretty tight weave and at 12 oz I sweat even on cold days if I’m in a heated place. There is a lighter weight Wabash out there, though not in cpo form, that you might be able to find on eBay, Grailed or here in the forum. It’s probably more TX friendly.

But as @Anesthetist said of you find yourself in need of a jacket on cold nights or on trips to slightly colder climates this would be a great option.

@Aetas I work at a grain elevator. This past week I have been riding on top of moving trains, while loading them with corn (tens of thousands of pounds of corn). There is a ton of dust that comes up as the spouts load the train cars.

We are planning to run a black 227, yeah. No ETD yet though
