IH-805 - 21oz Indigo Selvedge Denim Double Knee Overalls

I wear a size 34 in 634s and 822s… unfortunately size 34 is sold out in the 805s and can’t find a pair anywhere. Do you think going up to a size 36 would be ok or would they be too sloppy? I would like to be able to layer them with a thermal and flannel in the colder months. I’m a gardener/landscaper by trade and need to be able to move in them, so I think the 32 would be in the wrong direction. Or should I wait until I can get a size 34? Hmmm… any insight?

Just tried this for me and it didn't work.
And don't go too small. Guess you should wait.

A pair of size 34 briefly popped up on the Iron Heart website yesterday and I was fortunate enough to be able to get them. Still need to be hemmed and a snap installed on the upper left pocket, so they won’t be shipped until early next week. I’ve been looking for a pair of these for a couple of months and really excited to finally get these in hand when they arrive. The wait begins …

I waited a long time for this day and they are finally here. They are definitely a more fitted look compared to my Carhartt bibs … I’ve been wearing them since I got home from work and can’t wipe the silly grin off my face.

@Oaktavia thanks man. My son went to Nepal a couple of years ago and brought the prayer flags back. One of the streams came undone during a wind storm a couple of nights ago and got wrapped around the pole. Just came in from retying it back up. Good karma is good karma!

I am in the market for a pair of these and I was told by a friend that they may fit funny considering my height. I am 6'1, 170 lbs anywhere from a 32-34 in IH and a solid 32 almost everywhere else. Any people around same height/stature? I was told the straps aren't long enough and it causes the crotch to ride high. Is this the case? Does he just have an older pair maybe? I measured out 37 inches across waist, should I go for the 32? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
