Our short sleeved western shirt cut, made from 7oz cotton poplin fatigue cloth. Worn by military personnel when performing non-combat based duties, ‘fatigues’ were designed to be very breathable items of clothing which allowed for freedom of movement, while still offering the durability required for army life. Inspired by these vintage fabrics, our 7oz fatigue cloth is an ideal utilitarian choice for a summer shirt - both lightweight and hardwearing with a classic heritage appearance.

A veteran can keep me honest here, but “fatigues” I’m pretty sure are battle dress uniforms (BDUs) and not non-combat dress as described.

@A-eye-Kev there’s no reason to believe this one will have any fit issues. The new Sashiko material was an entirely unknown quantity and that just happens sometimes.

Oof... looking at the dims I was certain this would be a clear size down from my usual UHF size, only to see the dudes I normally share size with not size down, lol. Is the idea of this piece that it is more of a loose-fitting/baggy garment?
