@popvulture I think in time the world is going to realize, 888 is just the best fit period. Is it skinny? Kinda. Is it relaxed? Just enough. Is it comfy? Fuck yes! Does it look badass…duh!!!!

@popvulture really? How so? Mine fit over my Lofgren engineers really easily. All my 888s have right about 8” leg opening. Slide right over.
I don’t cuff though. Does cuffing tighten the width of the leg opening?

@Mizmazzle yeah I’ve got a pair of OD 888s I can fit over my Wescos, but they’re sorta shorter and are only cuffed once. I think a double cuff makes it a bit harder, especially with XHS. Plus I have fucking enormous Sasquatch feet too haha, so there’s that part of the equation. I think that’s probably the biggest contributor, tbh. This is why I’m always whining about the demise of the Beatle Buster.

@popvulture haha. I was going to say, the difference between my size 9 Lofgren and your size 12 may play a bit of a part in fitting over your engineers!

@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot the EDG is the thickest and stiffest belt I have at 14oz - great belt - I have the black one on order. The next thickest belts I have are the Pigeon Tree Japanese bridle belts at 13oz - also great belts.
