that might be the first photo i've seen where the slubby nature really shows up well

@Brandrea I have laid hands on the 21Anny shirt, so I can comment on this. On the inside, it's comparable to a UHF. On the outside, it is much harsher to the touch, due to the slubby fabric. Not uncomfortable, but noticeably different.

            @tody Thank you for this.

Would it be comparable to denim? … I own slb and regular selvedge IH.

@tody agree with this, definitely a harder, rougher hand on the exterior, but with the soft double brushed feel inside

Actually the denim comparison isn’t too off base. I love my anny shirt. It’s heavy like an uhf but more textured and dense feeling. It won’t be my last that’s for sure. The only thing stopping me from getting this one too is that I don’t want my closet to explode.

@Brian hit the crew up, they’ll sort you out.

If you really don’t have a shirt to measure as a base point, maybe list your height, weight, chest, shoulder and sleeve. You can also get your shoulder and chest measurements from a tee shirt. Most of the other dimensions are what they are anyway.

I’m my case, I like to add about 4” to my chest measurement to get the kind of “comfortable” fit I’m looking for. For example, I have a 42/43” chest so I look for PtoP that’s about 23-24. Most of the other measurements fall into line.

                        Good luck!

@Brian you could order more than one and return the sizes that don’t fit. I’m sure retailers hate this but it seems to be a very common behavior.

I’m really torn on this one. I want it because it’s a new texture for a heavyweight shirt. But I need another shirt like a hole in the head right now. I hope it does amazingly well and they do some more colour ways next year.

                              Ohhhhhh that constitutional stitching!

@Brian The advice from @Brandrea was great, if you dont have a shirt to measure, reach out to us, take some body measurements, compare those to the crew vitals page - https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/topic/8027/ihuk-staff-measurements?_=1701860374837 - and then check out what size the closest to you wears 😄 if you are still a bit stuck, we can use all of the information you provide to steer you in the right direction to save being killed by the wife or blacklisted at the bank haha

Judging by the how the crew measure post and in inches
                                    Shoulders 16.5 front 17.2 back
                                    Chest 17
                                    Waist 15
                                    Sleeve/ arm 24

Wife measured so give an estimate on the ability to describe numbers and inches with a pinch of salt as she’s Australian and has never known imperial measurements but I witnessed the measuring

This is my first shirt purchase and have saved up so really don’t want to f it up I’d like it to be fitting but be able to wear with a tee underneath when it’s cold here have a 11oz iron heart one and the lighter 1600l (I think) and a few other 6-9 oz ones

Don’t think I’d need to be able to put a sweater or jumper underneath due to climate

Sorry for being a pain in the arse on what must be a hectic time

Yes, they do. I can't talk to other retailers, but it is something we put up with, but far prefer working with the customer to get the correct size the first time. Returns in general cost us a fortune, a recent study I read said that a return costs the average retailer USD50 when all the agro is costed up. But, I think that more importantly, it takes a garment out of the shop for an unspecified amount of time, and that may well mean a lost sale. It's also not particularly planet-friendly.

The bottom line is that we would far rather you talk to the crew and nail the sizing.
