With the adoption of the gambling industry into the sport, the state of officiating, the violence and injuries, it’s never been IMO a worse time to gamble on the NFL if you’re actually concerned about financial outcomes and not just doing it for fun.
Then again, betting more than you’re happy to lose never made sense to me either.

@mclaincausey I agree with you 100%,but get the feeling that people might be betting more than ever,due to the ease of which it is to make a wager. There have been quite a few times when I've thought that I'm really glad that I don't have that option. Someone out there is going Kaching,and it's not the guy betting $5 that the kicker will miss the field goal.

Betting is like autoerotic asphyxiation. Once you cross that line the regular “game” just isn’t the same anymore.
In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...
