Caught the flu, because it is raining all day and a good amount of people around me is ill…

Years ago, when I was more of a Ski Bum than studying technical engineering, I was working for german and upcoming international brands of the outdoor industry to get my funds…
Some of this items are still in use.

When it is raining and I am only out for an hour or so, I’ll take this vintage HellyHansen fleece. Can stand the rain and breathes beautiful without overheating.

New to me IHG-081 cotton WatchCap on the right. Love it so far.

        And now the nerd stuff.
Using headlights for decades two brands stand out for me. The Petzl Actic is the light the family takes, because of its simplicity.
For me the red light is to weak , so I prefer the ARMYTEK WIZARD C2 WR MAGNET USB (WARM LIGHT).
The red light is almost invisible for animals and comfortable for night vision:

Nearly dark, only the camera makes it look like there is brightness.
        IMG_3328.jpeg

And that’s the way we both move through dense undergrowth with the red light on. Normally I use the half of this intensity!

This headlightmarket has endless pros and cons for this and that.
Have you seen the Wizard with green light? This has more clarity of lines for map work at night on the boat….

This fabric softens up so nicely after some washing.
What do you think? Please respond…

Can we count to 4 washes @denim-dawg , @neph93 , @Heavy_blue till now?? How many have you done?

It’s getting colder. Jacket needs some lining 😅.

Next project could be a Bootjack.
Manufactured a prototype today. About these form one can argue…
The result should be heavy and endure time!
At this point another prototype is definitely needed.
