This is a church service I could get behind -
Rick Asley has served his purpose. I’m proposing RickRoll’s replacement. Maybe start like 2:20 in for peak ridiculousness with the dancing scene.

Tom MacDonald has been dropping some crazy and relevant messages in unique ways these last couple years. He can rap (No Response), sing (this song), and push people's buttons ("People are so stupid" and many others) like the best of them.

Dank rasta instrumental. Do not advise listening if taking a drug test in the next few weeks; may come back positive.

I often stream Lofi Girl on youtube for good chill background tunes while at work so I don't play out my regular stuff. It's basically a looped video of an anime girl studying at a desk. I learned over the last day or two there is lore to this, and being a casual fan of anime, I got curious when I noticed that she was missing from her desk lately -just streaming music with an empty chair....but the reason for her absence is because she was out making a music video released today.
Somehow this quick video stirred up a bunch of sentimentality behind my wife and I losing her parents over the last few years to watching our daughter grow up and become more independent. I was caught off guard to say the least. -
@WhiskeySandwich I love listening to those lofi playlists during especially tedious spreadsheet tasks
-
@endo I just don’t find them interesting,or compelling and they’re all really super talented great players. I tried, but I couldn’t get through the song you posted, and I started out liking it. I have liked them on occasion when they’ve done theme shows, like all Doors songs or a Jimi Hendrix night.

@Jett129 oh I saw them at Healing Appalachia back in September. It was a good jam to hangout to I guess. I hate to call it 'background music' but it was good for what we were doin at the time.

@WhiskeySandwich Similarly,my favorite guitar player, these days, is Derek Trucks, and for the life of me I just can't get into the Tedeschi-Trucks Band. Loved him with The Allman Bros, and Clapton, but to me this is like Bonnie Rait with the Allman Bros.

Liking what I've heard so far of the Andre 3000 record that came out today( but I also have a soft spot for vibey new age music)
