My wife got a candid of me when we were setting up for pizza at the beach on Friday. I make pizza every Friday, and we live a couple of blocks from the water. I bought a stack of pizza boxes on Amazon, so in the summer, we sometimes take our pizza to the beach with a bottle of wine, and enjoy the sunset.

@Oaktavia I'm not sure if I would call this town quiet, especially during the summer, but we live about a block from the bay (seen here) and about 5 blocks from the ocean. The ocean beach is utter madness in the summer, and the bay beach is super chill. San Diego, believe it or not, has a tourist season, and it's summer. After Labor Day, the tourists leave, and it's a much more peaceful place to be. Just a few more weeks!

@Oaktavia I lived for a few years at my partner's house overlooking the sea (in short, crossing a two-lane road I already had my feet in the water, and at least in Italy, there is very little quiet
. From May to September it is a frenzy of tourists, umbrellas and quarrels for car parking, from October until the end of April everything empties, but those who stay alive to reorganize everything for the following bathing season . Now I live where I was born, 18 km from the sea and it's much better even if the idea of a house near the ocean (or a northern sea unsuitable for "beach life") fascinates me too.
