Does anyone know if the cinch helps keep the part of the pants between the back belt loop and side belt loops held up?
I bend over a lot at work and my belt always ends up above the top of my pants.

Been eyeing these for a little bit now and when I was met with @JoshC enthusiastic, yup, on if suspender buttons could be added, I could no longer resist. Excellent job on the snap upgrade sir. Side shout out as well to @Freeman on clarifying the hem stitch (chino flat as they come or chain).

I love mine, they have become my most worn jeans.

However, lately the chinch has started coming undone - I think due to a combination of the fabric softening and the metal bending ever so slightly.

Does anyone have a suggestion for fixing it? I could probably stitch the two ends of fabric together, but is there any better solution?

So awesome that you love the pants. The cinch thing is not something we have come across. Really hoping some other cinch heads can chime in with a sollution. Would love to see a photo, tag me in it so we can take a look to see if there is a glaring fix that we can see.

Looking at the pictures I think the issue is that the metal part of the cinch has become slightly warped. That means that the spikes can pass through it, even Chen the fabric is there as well.

I know this issue. Had the same problem with my 728.
But it is an easy fix.
Use a flat nose spliers and bring the parts back together.
