@goosehd apologies as i have seen and eventually searched for whatever message you sent earlier about the fire in Lahaina, I haven’t found it whilst trying to reply. As far as I’ve seen from locals posting, whatever news outlets is portraying to the masses it’s downplaying the actual situation. It’s basically worse than what’s being shown. I may not be on that island, but from the locals who have posted the situation and friends who I’ve heard responses from, it’s bad, real bad.

We are all certainly hoping for the best in this dire situation. At least 2 members on the forum i can think of have ties to Maui. Hope everyone they know there is safe and sound.

Spent the afternoon emptying the house of various recyclables: books (mainly), cardboard, plastics of all sorts and glass bottles and jars. I’d estimate a cool 300 kg of stuff altogether.
These tuk-tuks will come and collect recyclables from houses, cool service.
