@Kasi you asked me about superblack selvedge jeans recently, perhaps @Jett129 did also... I can't find where though.

555 and 666 will be coming to us next week, 634 will follow shortly after

Been wearing my 21oz SBGs a bit more lately. When I got them new they had a bit of a fold crease. As I’ve been wearing them there is some light fading/ dust line formation happening vertically. Should I iron that out so it doesn’t make a long ass fade line? Or will that crease diminish with some more wearing of the jeans?

@Mizmazzle Turn the jean inside out and iron them that way as it will prevent any scorching and sheen to the outside of the jean if your settings for the iron aren’t correct.

Random but wondering…does old denim fade slower than denim that was recently made? Ive been sitting on a pair of og 21oz since 2020 and it got me thinking. Like, does the dye “imbed” more over time?

                        The indigo was darker.

Then brought another one in 2021 felt the indigo is lighter.
                        This one fade slowly.

Time changes everything, the Beetle Buster was the same as the older 21oz 555 in dye colour.

But my votes goes what came out 10 years ago.

Not only that the shirt 33 indigo colours has change as well too.

Right side is new colour use on the shirt

Left side is the old colour

I feel as though the dye as well as the cotton may have an influence on fading potential as well. The older denim (Beatles Buster era) from what I remember used Zimbabwe cotton. Which probably has different characteristics than the more recent cotton IH uses now

Had a bad experience locally where I took in a pair of Naked and Famous jeans to be tapered and they cut and removed the entire selvedge I.D. Would like to avoid that next time around lol. Thanks folks!
