Hi, apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I have been hemming my jeans to the length where I can cuff them and they dont go much lower than my heels. They are comfortable with bare feet but obviously ride up quite high when sitting (especially on my MC). for the most part I wear engineers so I dont really mind it too much but thinking perhaps I should try them a bit longer so the hem is lower when sitting.
My question is I have a few months of everyday wear (25oz 634) and the creasing and fading is definitely on the way behind the knee. Since I have committed to the length and the evolution of the honeycomb is on the way I was wondering if it would it be a mistake to uncuff them so they will hang a bit lower?
Thanks in advance for any insight

@fourperf I don’t think there is an answer to hem length and it’s all down to personal preference. Try it and see if you like it. Denim can be repaired (within reason) and the only drawback is the destruction of the hem.

              Personally, I don’t mind it.

@goosehd Thanks a lot for your speedy reply!! It was more a concern of how it might affect the progress (or destruction) of the already evolving patina behind the knee. I am assuming the new amount of break will have an impact on that.

@fourperf my thoughts are yes it would change the honeycomb pattern but I don’t think it would cause more damage.

                  I don’t think I’ve ever seen a honeycomb blowout.

My search-fu is failing me if there is already a thread on that topic, but I’d be grateful to be directed to it if it already exists.

Been wearing my 21oz SBGs a bit more lately. When I got them new they had a bit of a fold crease. As I’ve been wearing them there is some light fading/ dust line formation happening vertically. Should I iron that out so it doesn’t make a long ass fade line? Or will that crease diminish with some more wearing of the jeans?
