From today on the 'Deutschland-ticket' is effective in Germany. This means, you can buy the ticket for 49 Euros (54 USD, 43 GBP), it's valid for one months and for ALL local public trains, suburban railways, busses, undergrounds all over Germany. Every city, every network. I think that's pretty awesome.

I live pretty rural, we don’t even have a bus or train.
We used to have, but they were abolished cause everyone uses cars. If I go to work by public transport it takes almost 1.5 hours . With car I need 25 minutes ! Think that’s the main problem of public transport in rural areas. For the city this ticket is awesome for sure
