I'm just gonna pick whatever pops into my head without dwelling on it too much. Also, getting the submissions in nice and early guarantees that nobody else will steal my pick, however unlikely that may be

I'm still calibrating the balance between what I'd choose for me and what I'd choose for the rest of you. I have a few ideas that I will surely forget several times and maybe remember again before I need to submit.

I've opted to stick to my favourite songs in each category. My taste can be a little eclectic, and I'd be surprised if many of them turned out to be genuine people pleasers, but I'll follow my heart til the end..

@T4920 Eclectic is good. I'd say the same about my taste - my friends might use a less complimentary word!

I'll definitely choose stuff I like or that means something to me, but if other folks like it too that could help with scores, especially as I'm a round behind!
