I have several pairs of moleskin pants.  It is seriously tough stuff.  I guess the French used it a lot for workwear.  It also ages beautifully.

Moleskin is one of my favorite fabrics and it seems to range from brushed, super soft stuff to the smooth, wind resistant, water resistant fabric in my MF Paletot Diable. I’m super psyched about this release.

Agreed. As it stand I think it’s too close in color to my “untucked” and they’d compete for the same role. That said, I could fit this one closer to a shirt and that might justify it…

Thigh I am bummed that there is going to be a duck CPO releasing right around this same time. 2 shirts in the same cut, and essentially the same color is likely a no-go for me

I think this shirt is my most coveted of the FW18 drops. Any news yet on a general release date yet? Gotta plan for everything so I don’t put myself into the poor house

Is this reverse out? I have a Schmidt shirt that is reverse out moleskin, such that the interior is soft (brushed?) and felt-like, while the exterior face carries a sheen like this fabric appears to do.

It is not reverse out, but it is not a heavily piles moleskin.
