I googled Moleskin,and I’m still kind of confused as to what it is,and how it relates to clothing. When I was a kid,I used to by Moleskin to tape to my bass drum head,where the beater hit the head,so that it would take longer for the beater to break through the head,thereby saving me from having to constantly by new heads. Is the fabric on the pads related in any way to the fabric used in the making of the CPO shirt?

This is as good a resource as any and also explains why it is used by drummers in the manner you describe. It’s also commonly used in military clothing.

I have several pairs of moleskin pants.  It is seriously tough stuff.  I guess the French used it a lot for workwear.  It also ages beautifully.

Moleskin is one of my favorite fabrics and it seems to range from brushed, super soft stuff to the smooth, wind resistant, water resistant fabric in my MF Paletot Diable. I’m super psyched about this release.

Agreed. As it stand I think it’s too close in color to my “untucked” and they’d compete for the same role. That said, I could fit this one closer to a shirt and that might justify it…

Thigh I am bummed that there is going to be a duck CPO releasing right around this same time. 2 shirts in the same cut, and essentially the same color is likely a no-go for me
