Wouldn't this ropy twill make an interesting jean? Serious texture and fading potential.

I think it would be far too soft for a jean, though perhaps not. The IH-555-SG has a similar texture though

Fair enough: can't tell that from the images but a soft, sweatpant like fabric would indeed not a jean make.

Reading through this thread, combined with the other info I have on this shirt, I suspect it is around midweight (8-10oz?) based on the use of lightweight snaps, and while I’m sure it’s warm (thick, coarse weave) it should breath well too. I seem to remember someone who’s handled it who couldn’t believe it wasn’t wool.

Time will tell though.
