Exactly - even if we were able to place our orders after asking for opinion on the forum, our customer base is much wider than just those that read here and people change their minds too. Look at the Kanreki shirt - we had people fill out forms for who wanted one, and we are still left with 50 units.

I think it would be far too soft for a jean, though perhaps not. The IH-555-SG has a similar texture though

Reading through this thread, combined with the other info I have on this shirt, I suspect it is around midweight (8-10oz?) based on the use of lightweight snaps, and while I’m sure it’s warm (thick, coarse weave) it should breath well too. I seem to remember someone who’s handled it who couldn’t believe it wasn’t wool.

Time will tell though.
