I'm sorry to hear about that, Reuben, and I hope that you're in a better place soon. I have extended family members and friends with similar challenges, so I know how difficult this can be. Thanks for all that you've done as moderator here. I appreciate the help that you've given me in selecting IH products and for setting a tone of positivity in this forum. I look forward to your return on the new forum, whenever that may be.
Also wanted to give a belated thanks to @goosehd for taking over moderator duties. This means that we're still in good hands and that things are a little easier for Reuben now. A win-win.

Just finished reading through this thread. I can’t start to describe how touched I am by all the kindness sent my way. Thank you all so much.
This is my last night in Unit B where I’ve spent the last five weeks. It’s been a ride. I’m feeling a lot better than I did coming in, and have a lot of work ahead, but I’m now ready for that.
I’m happy to be back on here and looking forward to getting to know the new interface, as well as the new faces around here.
I’ve asked Alex to remove my mod status, in order to be able to come and go as I please, and generally be an unconscionable, irresponsible fuckwit. It feels like 50 years old is a good time to start
