      @Giles:

If you do have something you would like me to auction off as a donation to American Heart Association.    Please DM me directly.

When and where is this auction going to happen?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

When I start getting items, I will list them on a board dedicated to sell Filthy Auction Items", I will add a new thread to the board as and when I receive more items.  I think I will give each item one week

It’s upsetting to read what a troubled bloke he was…

I realise how poorly worded this was, for anyone who read it. I didn’t mean to sound judgmental. I sincerely meant it in the sense that I hope Mike hadn’t suffered. He was a kind soul. Just to clear it up.

.  I didn’t think it was poorly worded, and while Mike was troubled he seemed to find immense comfort in everything Iron Heart especially this Forum, where he was revered like no other member.

RIP. First guy that got me in to 25oz denim. He was so enthusiastic about 25oz denim. Later he changed his handle to 21/23 Oz.

I just read the email regarding the auction for Mike. This is beyond sad.

Mike was above all a beautiful, generous and genuine guy.

I recall a couple of years ago I posted about wanting a Fire King cup for my morning coffee. Mike messaged me about a set of promotional cups he had found in a house clearance near Detroit, and then mailed them all the way to the UK for me.

I use those cups every morning and will think of Mike every day as I do.

                                Rest in peace brother.

Really sorry he had to go, like for many here he was a friend I’d never met in person.

On to new adventures, good buddy, you’ll no doubt have improved the path we find when it’s our time to follow.

I had the privilege of meeting Mike at an IH event in Philly a couple years ago. He was such a nice, warm, friendly, all around great dude! I can't believe he is gone. Miss you bro!

We've just released a newsletter in tribute to Mike, but for those of you who may not be subscribed...

In Memory Of Mike "Filthy" Ogurchak

As many Iron Heart forum regulars will know, earlier in the year we lost a dear friend, Mike Ogurchak (aka “Filthy”), who unexpectedly passed away on January 25th. More than just a loyal customer, Mike was a much-loved forum personality, touching the hearts of the many friends he made worldwide through his kindness and extraordinary generosity.

In the months following his sudden passing, there was an outpouring of love and sympathy for Mike, his family and loved ones, resulting in a community-based auction being set up to honour his memory. In the spirit of Mike’s generous nature, the idea was that people who knew him would donate an item of clothing to be auctioned on the forum.

We were blown away by your big-hearted donations, and so far - when combined with Mike’s own personal IH collection that was added to the auction - we’ve been able to raise just under $10,000. With some of the proceeds going to the American Heart Association, the remaining ensures that Mike’s mother (with whom he lived and supported) will be provided for.

We've recently added some more of Mike's personal collection to the auction, with further items due to be added in the next few weeks. To see what's currently up for grabs, please visit this thread: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/category/160/the-filthy-mike-stuff-for-sale

                                        RIP Mike, we miss you.

                                        Obituary - Michael D. Ogurchak
                                        November 27th,1978 - January 25th, 2023

Of North Versailles, age 44, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023. Michael was the beloved son of Bernadette (Krah) Ogurchak and David Ogurchak. Dear brother of Alissa Miller of Bremerton, WA. Uncle of Arielle and Israel Miller. Nephew of Bernard (Barbara) Krah, Elizabeth "Irish" Clements and the late Kathleen (late David) Belchick. Cousin of Brian Krah, David Belchick, Marci Belchick, Thomas (Emily) Belchick, Sara (Jason) Virostek and Lesley Busch. Michael is also survived by his precious pet kitty, Pickles.

Michael was a 1997 graduate of East Allegheny High School and then attended California University of PA. For 15 years, Michael was employed by Conco, Inc., travelling throughout the world doing repair work at various types of power plants. Most recently, Michael worked for Giant Eagle in the North Versailles store.

Michael was a wonderful artist, drawing mostly pencil drawings and sketches. His favourite pastime, however, was shopping for Iron Heart clothing.
