IHSH-295-BB - 14oz Selvedge Denim Western Shirt - Black/Black

Any sight on a restock?

After having tried the JC III only to find out the measurements do not work for me, I placed an order for this shirt. I like the fact that this fades to grey. But one other question I have is about its crispiness. Does it become softer after couple of wears?
-
@Oaktavia Your shirt seems to be the most evolved. Could you throw us some pictures on how it looks like now?

I just received this beast from IH Hamburg and I would like to know what the shrinkage on this is going to be like. Right now, this is just about perfect and I'm a bit concerned if the sleeves would shrink after a soak or a wash. Anyone experienced any shrinkage on these, please comment. As usual, a phenomenal quality.

Thanks Gentlemen. I'm going to keep this one and unlike the other IH shirts that I normally wash after a week of wear, I might prolong the wash cycle on this guy.
-
Is there any consistency between different IH shirts on the placement of the snaps? For example., I'm wearing this shirt today and as it can be seen in the image that the opening remains opened up after the last snap button while my other IH shirts do not show such an effect. It dosn't matter but I just wanted to ask if there is any consistency followed when planing the buttons across all IH shirts.
Again, I'm not complaining but just thought of asking.
-
The placement is fairly consistent, I'm pretty sure that the opening is due to flare because your hips are wider than your waist, and maybe exacerbated by the thickness/stiffness of the denim, the only way to stop this happening would be to have a snap very low down on the placket, which actually would restrict movement.

Thanks for the reply @Giles I just compared measuring my 13 oZ Military Serge and it is about 2 cm less compared to this 295. I adore this shirt more than anything else I have owned so far. Stunning beauty.

@goosehd looks like you’re already ‘wanted’ for your good sense of humor

@the246guy mine does not appear to flare out as your photo shows. Does it still do that on yours when you are standing up straight? Mine flares out when I'm sitting but I think all my shirts do that.
-
I don't think I've ever experiences this type of flare.
Perhaps there's a slight crease causing this. Have you tried ironing that part of the shirt?
