So the general consensus is to take your UHF size if you want to layer, and size down if you want a trimmer look? I live in upstate New York where winters get pretty brutal, so I’ll definitely be layering. My most recent UHF is the sax blue in XXL which fits comfortably. I also have a few older UHF’s in XL which fit a bit more trim. My general opinion with outerwear like this is to size up, rather than down, if in doubt.

Danger of my wife having the announcement emails is sometimes she's just like "buy this" but this time it was sold out by the time she did! But then I saw that it was still in stock in Large at Berkeley Supply, so… guess I'm getting this!
Also, her pointing this out to me made me notice that this had slot pockets, not patch/exterior/whateveryoucallthem pockets like the other IH N1 jackets. A minor detail, but one that I thought just didn't do it for me. When I took a second look at the jacket, from her showing it to me, I realized these went for a more traditional N1 pocket style of just slots, and realized I had to jump. So glad I did, can't wait to have this in my hand (and then wait for it to get a bit colder here in NY).
