IH-526J-SLBod - 16oz Slubby Selvedge Denim Type III Jacket - Overdyed
-
@ARNC awesome! What size did you go with? Mine comes tomorrow … can’t wait
-
Thanks guys. @Nkwkfld that's what I'm hoping, even if I take while to get there. @trivsdotcom it's an XL. I don't have enough type IIIs (yet) to have a usual size, but both the ones I have are +1 from my usual size in IH work shirts. Hope yours works out for you.
-
Im new to type iii’s as well, and I followed the same logic! I did an XL, and I’m normally a large in the shirts so fingers crossed.

@trivsdotcom I guess yours has arrived now. How did it work out?
-
@ARNC the xl worked perfect!! I’ll get some pics asap.

I’ve been running this with the SBG 888s to achieve the slub/smooth contrast….. while still summoning my inner Johnny cash haha

Man this jacket looks so good! Is this OD version more or less breathable than the 21 oz 526PJ? Anyone able to comment?
-
@Twistlock No that is an error, I've amended. Apologies for any confusion
-
Any faded examples out there?
I'm thinking off selling off the Oni I bought for Redline and grabbing this.
I've absolutely loved the 21OD and curious what we'd end up with here.

Seeing as how this has only been available for a month and a half, I think you’re going to get to show US how it fades! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Straight up Uno Switch carded me!

@BrianA if I was going to buy one I'd probably go with the XXXL, wear it over a t-shirt and accept I'd never get it done up beyond the first couple of buttons, if I wanted to do it up over my waist I'd have to go XXXXL - and even then it's a little snugger than I'd like in the waist and a little too roomy in the shoulder (the XXXL is perfect in the shoulder) Type III and me just don't agree What size do you wear in a UHF/denim shirt? I’m a 3xl in both and torn between 3/4xl on this one
-
First wear on this jacket and loving it so far. The slub is amazing!

i think this piece might have finally changed my mind about the black overdye
