…I was wondering if I really was as mad as all my friends and family thought I was on the 2 hour dive to meet up with a load of relative strangers for a whole weekend, but the Crew and every one of the IH extended family made me feel super welcome…
I had the same feeling before my first visit in 2017. And I’m sure we are not the only ones.
To everybody who reads this, and is in the same position: Don’t listen to others, and just take the dive

Had such a great weekend myself and my boys loved it . Im not a overly confident person keep myself to myself sorry if I come across rude .To everyone who I meet and spoke to was amazing and @Kasi complete legend right there my boys loved your style
Go Karting was a blast great battles with the IH crew .
Great to be involved in the IH garden installing the wires to hold the denim and fitted 80 hooks to support the light cables that truly looked incredible when the lights came on .
Been great to see the faded denims displayed on the wall while one of the best I saw was on your legs @Jcaz6996

I was pretty nervous working in the garden just hoping it all goes up how I visualised it and nothing goes wrong ( falls down when all the denim gets hung up
) but thankfully everything turned out great ..@Giles IH-526J the “OG “was my pick incredible

I'm just back from the IH Party, and it was great to catch up with everyone, and meet new people.
I'd like to add that I definitely approve of the new hiring strategy at Iron Heart that requires team members to have family members with impressive baking skills. @Bailey's fiancée Briony (I hope that I've got her name right) and @Josh's mother both brought along some great cakes.
The presence of dogs at the event was also welcome, and I didn't mind that @The Web Minions's beast Rupert was a bit boisterous.
I also need to replace my red and black jumper, because I've worn it at the last two or three events.

Im sitting here waiting for the train with Katie trying to think of something profound to say about this weekend and I’ve got absolutely nothing. A full days worth of travel is hard enough but doing it with hearts this heavy is pure misery. There are far too many people who made this trip everything for us to name check so I’ll trust that each of you knows how much love we have for you. We already know we’ll be back. Hopefully sooner than later. Thank you.
I don't want to sound crass or grandoise or anything like that, but this weekend had a profound effect on me…
Seeing so many people who had never met before getting on so well with each other and having such a good time, left me feeling serene, humbled and proud.
I am so privileged to know you all and to be involved with a brand that invokes so much love and passion.
I think we have the ability to make these events ones that people will truly remember for the rest of their lives, and possibly change their outlook on life. To do that is another retirement goal.
I think it had a profound effect on all of us @Giles . Thank you, @Giles , @Madame Buttonfly , @Alex , @Haraki-san and the IH Crew for enabling it to happen . I so enjoyed meeting such an interesting group of people and thanks to the forum and the photos it can remain fresh in our memories for a long time.
