Agreed Dennis.  It’s pretty great out here.  Getting to see some trees and water yesterday was a much needed change.  I think it’s safe to say we’re all ready for fall though.  Our trip yesterday had us scoping out some fall camping sites.  Stay tuned!

It’s Balloon Fiesta time in ABQ. I think we’re going next Thursday so stay tuned for more photos.  The schools each get their own balloon launch on the first morning of the festivities.  Here we are bright and early at the girls’ school…

@goosehd I have not.  Not ruling it out though. 

@ROman that’s nothing.  The mass ascension is when they all take off in the morning and it’s utter balloon mayhem.  You have to leave the house at 4 am to fight the traffic and parking in time for it.  We’re doing the evening event where they light up some funky shape balloons.  It’s supposed to be much less chaotic.  People come from all over the world for Balloon Fiesta.
