IH-730-KHA - 12oz Heavy Cotton Regular Fit Chinos - Khaki

I received my pair last week and these are nice. I would say the fit is somewhere between a Dickies 874 and Dickies Slim Taper. I like how these also have the Dickies style clasp at the fly…not sure what you call that type of fastener but it's a nice touch that definitely adds to the dickies feel of these. I still prefer the fit of the IH-721 over these, generally speaking, but these are a great option for when you want something a little baggier. I would definitely pick up another pair of these in a different color if they are ever made.
If the IH-721's are too slim for your liking and you want a bit of a roomier, baggier look and feel without going full on 874 Dickies type of baggy then these are for you.

I picked up a pair of these while in Hamburg earlier this week. While I particularly like the fabric, I’m a little unsure if I’ll be happy with the cut - the front rise in particular. It is fine standing up and walking, but sitting behind a desk the whole day they got a bit uncomfortable. I’ll see if the give a little with more wear. What would be my chino options with a lower front rise?

Bought a pair of these to wear to a wedding. I hate buying regular “wedding” clothes as I never end up wearing them again, so that factors into my decision making and I end up buying something cheap that I loathe. If I ratchet up the price to something that I actually like then I end up seeing it as a waste since I won’t wear it very often, if at all. At least these will get loads of wear over coming years. I know they ain’t strictly formal, but hey it’s a buddy’s wedding and he won’t give two shits what I’m wearing.

@Bailey kindly set aside a 34 with the largest waist and thigh measurements. They came out very close to an 888 fit, and I’m supper happy with them
The fabric has been described as soft and buttery in the 731 thread, which I’d agree with. It has an amazing hand feel, but there’s enough rigidity in the fabric to get some nice creases and feel rugged. All in all, an amazingly versatile pair of pants.
Quickly tried on with the wedding outfit
Really surprised with how well they work. In an ideal world for the wedding outfit they’d be hemmed to perfection, but I love a turn-up for regular wear.

Sorry in advance of this is a stupid question. The pocket flasher that come with these chinos say to wear them as long as possible before wearing. Is there any reason for this? I normally only see this instruction on items with fading potential, which I would’ve assumed this material lacks.
