Latest.  The cheque is in Euro's so without a load of shag and hassle, I cant even pay it into a bank account….....Well, just a bit of shag and hassle, but I can't be arsed......

Don't UK banks charge a fee for depositing foreign denomination cheques? You could ask him to send a further cheque to cover the fee before you will be able to deposit the main 22k cheque, and on and on ad infinitum.

Well, just let's talk about this.

Our contract is that he pays me £15K for the bike.  And I then send him £7k. And give him the ability to sort out shipping for the bike from here to him….

I do that.  What's the issue?

It might be kind of funny to see their reaction to this question; "Hello, I have had your 22K pound check in hand for several days but I noticed you have not arranged for pickup of the bike.  Why is that?"

Update.  I told the "buyer" that I tried to pay the cheque into my bank (I didn't) and it was refused….
