Our medium/high rise tapered cut jeans, built using 19oz indigo-dyed left-hand twill Japanese selvedge denim. In a left hand twill, the warp gets tightened during the weaving process resulting in a harder, smoother face to the fabric. Often the denim will appear lighter due to more of the weft being visible on the face of the fabric. This 19oz denim has been dipped in indigo many times to achieve a very dark LHT.

It isn't unusual for 888's to have a smaller than tagged waist. It's due to the high rise. These look about right for 888's.

Looks slightly smaller. Usually tag 36 888's run the the 35's waist. Thigh and knee looks about right. I can take a 36 in most 888's and it will look slim but on those i will have to go 38 for sure.
