Thanks gents re: my wife’s new shades. I wasn’t sure she dug em at first but she loves em, particularly the heft and solidity of them.
To add to the confusion, @Giles , they do source Italian alteliers for the frames as well as the primary Japanese ones. At least, they have.
I do love the cases but prefer the fancier magnetic clasp one that came with my wife’s. I’ve held off on oiling it but am keen to do so and see how the leather comes out.
I think I may have a chance to meet the man if I’m understanding a forthcoming event in denver correctly. I’ll try to limit my fawning.

Yeah I love the magnetic case, mainly because of whatever aforementioned scent they spray in em. Nice touch.
Love these things, though — I get happy every time I put em on.

@Kasi today I learned telling someone their JMMs aren't made in Japan is among the most hot button topics on the IH forum… definitely need to take more drugs next time I say it
@Daniel San Thank you! They're Balzac — I decided to try a narrower pair after my Dealan 53s and feel like these work a little better on me. Might pick up a pair of regular Dealans down the line if they release a pair in a color I love. I really want the super classic black frame / green lens.
