Dude I’ve got it all laid out. The shirt is a bday present. The pants if they happen will be Xmas. A GAH ring is a gift from her that I convinced her she should give me to celebrate her getting a raise next year and if a tee happens that will be my souvenir. And I should be able to sneak a cap into the bag when she isn’t looking.
And if I can find someone to tat me up I’m getting an IH tat.
It’s like Oceans 11 around here right now. The machine does not stop working.
Sneaking a new pair of denim into the rotation isn't a problem really, after all it's a blue pair of trousers to most people… Shirts on the other hand are a tad more tricky. Plus, her initial response right now is "we're buying a house, we have to save everything", which applies to shirts, denim and vinyl/cds but weirdly enough not to rum or gin (not that I'm complaining, mind you). Having said that maybe I just need to up my scheming game

Same–I really want to meet y'all and other members of the community in person and there's no better opportunity than such a momentous occasion. The trouble is a looming client event that is finally going in-person again.

Just my wife and I. Her dad is flying out from MD to stay with the kids. Needless to say, I’m very excited.
Maybe she'll see all these impeccably attired people and think, "Maybe Matt has the right idea."
And maybe the moon will fall out of the sky. -
She’ll def be the worst dressed person there. The entire contents of all her luggage and the cost of her flight will be comparable to whatever pants I’ll be wearing. She has plenty of great qualities, sense of style not being one with which she is burdened. She’s unashamed about it. I love her.

I will be cancelling my booking at the Spring Garden Apartments. But, I will hold on to it until someone who is planning to come claims it. I have it reserved through Booking.com, and it does require a 3 night minimum stay. Anyone looking for a place, who can meet the 3 night minimum, should PM me…
Long shot @scooter , but do you still have this booking? Commuting in from Birmingham is looking more and more realistic
