@Giles I'd be looking at getting a multifocal inter-ocular lens implanted, rather than LASIK, as that would also correct for presbyopia. Though my optician (a professor of ophthalmology) reckons that's a bad idea because it'll compromise your eyesight. He pointed out that no ocular surgeons have gone in for it, so if the professionals don't think it's worthwhile…

That said, a large JMM collection might cost more than eye surgery!

@sabergirl I found my GOOD ART HLYWD necklace and glass loop (it had been hidden in a never used drawer by the cleaner ), and thankfully yes, the Dealan do work…....

I've got a pair of the JMM Amboise on their way to me at the moment.

Since this post, I've been coveting these, in silver/blue. Being a bit late to the party, I thought I had lucked out, in September, when I found a pair in an online shop. Unfortunately, they turned out to be out-of-stock. I resigned myself to the fact that I may be shit-out-of-luck. Recently, I found a local shop that happens to be the lone AD in my area. I dropped by, after work, today. One pair remained, in the color combo I desired. I guess I am lucky, after all…..
