I am a the moment bashing the hell out of the 555-01 21oz
For now..Have so many jeans… to pick from
Sometime when I get bored of the 555 switch to NO LOT or may be 777 25oz.
I have the 21oz 777 mad black coming tomorrow. In spring like to wear my overdyed more.
Think I will come back to these when it colder..
But there is sign of light grey effects showing on these XSHBB
Not only that I stop wearing other Brand’s I am no denim head, but Iron Heart only now.

Made it 3 more months… 1 initial soak and 1st wash today.
Has anyone with the XHSBB seen vertical (the Matrix) fades as yet? As per the indigo XHS pictured.

yep starting to see some Matrix (love that term lol) fades on my pair of 777. As with most denim photos, it looks more pronounced in person. -
Yeah! Not not wearing mine just not wearing them near enough to see any sorta fading. Other than where i rub side of knees up against desk and door in truck.

@Oaktavia i stopped wearing my 21oz sbgs after traveling internationally in a pair of 555-03 during the onset of covid, but your xhsbb gave me fomo on how awesome black denim evo’s! You’ve inspired me to wear the 555-03’s and/or xhsbb’s more often, so thank you

@mikebarhoot yup just takes time just like other jeans. I think I'm around 70 wears and one super gentle soak with detergent to remove puppy dander.

That's what I thought. So now the question is do I size up to a 31 or down to a 29? The leg measurements even on the 29 are quite a bit looser than I'm used to so no concern there, but how much stretch in the waist have folks been getting after putting some wear on these? That's really my only worry with sizing down.

I'm wearing mine as I type,and I would see what the smallest waist they have in a 31 is,or maybe what the largest waist they have in a 29 is,and go from there. I,personally, would rather have the smallest 31. I found that the stretching and shrinking with these to be minimal,and I machine dry mine.

I inquired about the 31's and both pairs in stock are right in line with the posted measurements if not a little bigger. Was hoping for an outlier that was running small but no dice. Waiting to hear about the 29's.
The tough thing is, my ideal thigh measurement is around 11.2", and my ideal knee is about 7.2". So even the 29's would be a good bit larger than ideal. I'm ok with a slightly looser fit than I'm used to on these, but the measurements on the 31 have me feeling like they're going to be WAY too baggy. Trying to avoid going more than .5" above ideal if possible, but don't want to suffer if the waist is too small and won't stretch.
