It’s hard to be so excited about something like the details on these pants and not have anyone in your personal life that you can talk to about it.  My wife would look at me like I was trying to explain the plot of a Marvel movie or physics to her.  I think that’s why the forum is so successful.

The height of the rise dictates the number of buttons, so I suspect five.

Thanks neph, you are probably correct. My PIHANS 32" have almost identical top block specs to these in 33" so had my hopes up. For some reason those with 4 buttons are perfect fit for me. 888 is good as well but not perfect

i switched over to the 888 last month from 555 and i love it.  no more sizing up & having to wear a belt, excess fabric in the seat, etc.
