Think my pair are due a wash, and realised I don’t know whether these fade or if I need to be careful with washing. Know they shouldn’t shrink at normal temperatures, but I once had some olive chinos (different, lesser brand) that were ruined with white streaks after their first wash at 40C. Would hate for something similar to happen here…

+1 what Sabergirl says! Inside out and cold wash and you should be golden.
Mine always do “crinkle” in the wash so I kind of flatten mine out and reshape before I hang dry.

I don't have any experience with this fabric but with the duck fabric its recommended you shower them or plunge them in water before putting them in the machine to stop any white creases.
You could always do that with these.

I turned mine inside out when machine washing them. The whip corn does sort of fade at seams and high wear points, but I didn’t personally get any lines from washing, even with spin.

This is what I do also. I’ve had zero issues. I wash in cold, delicate cycle and inside out. I’ve had very little visible fading.

Let’s see if there is really “no stretch” in this whipcord. Fingers crossed no button popping occurs. Will report on efficacy.
I suppose I could just stop eating everything within reach but until then…hope this works.
Interested to see how this turned out. It’d determine whether I order or not, since I’m between the 32 and 33. Awesome stretching device you fashioned there!

@Entropy rider I tried but didn’t get any noticeable stretch using this “cowboy stretcher”. I think the stretcher would work on most denim but this whipcord is super tight. I would order up if you’re between sizes as I probably should have done.
