YESSSS. Join the cult of the white Bostons! The non-slip sole is pretty rad, too. I was used to the trad sole and liked it a lot, but these are even better. Plz post some shots when you get them in, @Appfaff!!!

Great topic! I got these in 1999 and they are pretty much all I wear when the weather gets warm enough to not wear socks and I don’t have to have my work boots on. I can’t remember how many times they have been re soled. The only thing original is the leather. Probably cheaper to buy a new pair every couple years, but the sentimental value is worth more to me.

Dude @deanclean!!! Aren't they sick?! Glad you like them. I happen to appreciate how hard wearing the sole is on those compared to the classic EVA sole. And the pebble leather is super nice, too. They look great on you.

@henry_david yes they are great. i love the pebbled leather as well. I was only wearing them around the house for the first while because I thought people would think "what is this guy doing was those ugly things on his feet" then I snapped out of it and realized this isnt high school and I never cared then what people think so why should I now. I love them, I think they look great and they are comfy as hell. @neph93 just grab yourself a pair and jump in!

The chances of me jumping into that pool are somewhere between zero and none @deanclean. You’re all men of substance and taste so there is clearly something I’m missing here, but what it is, I do not know. No matter how I turn it in my head I can’t think of an area in life I would use these.

I've been wearing them since I was 14 years old, and to me there's nothing more comfortable for my high arches than a pair of broken-in birkenstocks. I prefer wearing them to being barefoot, and I wear them in the house daily and out of the house almost daily. Most of my footwear comes in the form of Birkenstocks or Wesco boots, and that's what I wear whenever I'm awake.

I felt much like you did, @deanclean. And then I thought: "Dude. You're 31. When're you gonna finally choose to be comfy and not give a fuck?" So now I have three pairs of Birks for different scenarios (weather changes, dinners with friends, around the house, etc.) and wear a women's handbag as a tote cause I think it's cute. ???
