Picked one of these in XL from R&H. Been an expensive season for me haha… this should be the last.
The XL might be a tiny bit big on me, so maybe a wash will tighten it up a tad. My only other UHF is and IHSH-127-V2 (purple) that I got second hand (new condition) after it was extinct. I only just decided to give it a wash bc it was a significantly bigger XL than this one... I gave it a hot wash and hung it in the sun to dry, and it shrank quite a nice little bit.
Which brings me to a general UHF question — is there a way to keep these soft once you wash them? I imagine a trip in the dryer would do it, but that wouldn’t really be an option if you didn’t want any shrink. My purple UHF is still comfy but the super softness isn’t there at the moment. Maybe it’ll get soft again with wear...

Yeah definitely worth a shot trying an air dry cycle. That’s one downside to hang drying, just tends to leave stuff a bit crispy.

I've washed all my UHFs and they all regain that softness after a day or two of wear.
I just washed my 230 and it's quite crispy at the moment!

Typically when the UHFs sell out they are gone, but keep an eye on the FS threads and you might get lucky. You can always put out a WTB thread also! Best of luck!!

@zhivago , sorry to contradict you but the navy/black ombré's and the red/black buffalo check UHf's are both "continuous" production items, this was a decision @Alex and I made a year or two ago to ensure we always had some UHF's available. Unfortunately, either the Japanese did not believe that we would sell them all year round or thought we were joking when we made the request. So whilst they are in continuous production, we have had some supply issues, mainly running out of fabric, so restocks have taken far longer than we envisaged…..
That said, both the work and the western are due to be restocked sometime in April....

First UHF and first piece of Iron Heart clothing. Love it and it will get a lot of use during the winter here in Sweden.

Edit: cool story, a Google image search for the term "grey Buffalo plaid Western shirt" is how I originally found out about Iron Heart. I didn't know what raw denim was of anything like that at all. What a strange twist of fate that was.

(Back in 2013) I thought HOLY FUCK!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! Until I looked at the price… then for like an hour I was like, "well maybe it might be worth it?" Then I decided to try and buy it but it was sold out and I spent a long while trying to track one down with no luck (the originalone prior to the 127). Then about a month passed and I bought a pair of 18 oz Vulcans from the outlet 2 sizes too big and an hemmed an inch too short... and the rest is history.

@Filthy - small world, I found IH the same way! But my search was red buffalo. At the time the V1 127 was out of stock but I checked back and the V2 had arrived. Been hooked ever since!
