I'm with you, 100%. I wonder how difficult it might be, to say, take the easy shorts design, remove the pockets, lengthen to a pant, and make them out of seasonal UHF. Simply pair them with a matching shirt, and voila…

Easy shorts pattern is too slim. Need something comfier and roomier in the seat and thigh for pajama imo

at the risk of appearing disloyal to the IH brand I’d highly recommend the Goruck GR-1 - similar over-engineered/no-frills aesthetic imo

i don't know how to search within threads to know if this was suggested before, but how about scarves?  Clearly from UHF but could also be other fabrics that are soft/cozy enough.
