Thanks [mention]Heavy_blue [/mention] I’ve got a pair of duck 777’s and and a couple 666’s jeans so it sounds like my new boots will work nicely. There is a pair of Lofgren ropers I’m waiting to get re released but the engineers I’ve got coming are Role Club. I think they are getting shipped to me tomorrow.

@deanclean the Lofgrens are up for pre-order with delivery in April 23’ but maybe you already knew that! Let me know if you like the role club engineers! P.s. what kind of colorway did you grab?

[mention]Heavy_blue [/mention] yes I saw them up for preorder a month or 2 ago but my size was sold out. I got the brown horsehide with the black finish on top for the Role Clubs. I’m no expert but I think the idea is that the black will wear away a bit revealing the brown underneath. It’s a big purchase so the Lofgrens may have to wait a while.

@deanclean dude NICE — I have the same (or damn near same, depending on last) Role Clubs coming sometime this year. The order says Sept, but they told me it’d likely be sooner. How long did yours take?
They’re a big purchase indeed, but I’ve gotta say because my Lofgrens are a tad too small and a many times aforementioned huge pain to get on, it’s always irritated me that they’re not perfect. So I had to figure out some that were (and pay the price, haha). Based on the pair of Role Clubs I held at the shop, I’m not gonna be disappointed.

I have some RC Oxfords and they are superb. Love his boots but can't justify it since I already have black (JL) and brown (custom MF RCs) engineers.

[mention]popvulture [/mention] I’m really looking forward to them. I’m actually not sure on the last. I can’t remember the number. I know it’s the original one though. Sort of a little flatter toe. I got low woodsman heel and unstructured toe. I just hope they fit because I did the measurements myself. I’m embarrassed to say I paid for the expedited production so it only took a couple months. If he gets them shipped today I may see them this week. Depends how long they are in customs to get to me in Canada. I’ll keep you posted!

[mention]mclaincausey [/mention] so cool you have Road Champs. I still regret not getting a pair when they first came out. I hope these Role Clubs satisfy my engineer needs! It’s a big investment but I keep telling myself that my now 1 year old son may one day want to wear them. My wife is continually reminding me that I say that for almost every new purchase these days. Not sure for how much longer that will work!

no just kidding my fiancé wil never understand why i spend that amount of money on boots/Ih stuff etc. but in the end she sees how happy i am with it. -

it’s a 634 18oz
the leather is awesome, it’s a bit softer than the Horween CLX although it’s a little thicker in my opinion. But that’s just a guess. -
@Daniel San liking the hem on that 634. Been kinda on the fence thinking it might be a bit wide for my liking. I’ve been an 888 guy in large part cause I love the hem on my boots. But that 634 is money!

Thanks @Heavy_blue They are now due for some conditioning as the leathers dries out a bit. Will have to see the cobbler as well. The stitches on the last start opening from the abuse on the motorcycle.

Hello there all! Question tuesday.. i have a little heel slip on my left foot,
Wich is strange cause that foot is running a little larger.. i wear a 9,5 and in my opinion a size 9 would be to small. In the end i have a little heel slip like i said. Any suggestions to avoid that or to make it go away
