Hoping to use it as a checkbook/wallet for business account. The dimensions make it look like it is very close.

Wow…got my hands on one of these wallets and it is insane!!! It's so big and thick  it's a lot in my pocket compared to my previous wallet. I've read through this entire thread as I was waiting for mine to arrive and it has lived up to expectations. @neph93 @Anesthetist your posts stood out to me the most. How are you wallets going?

Not sure about the giant brass IH chain I think I'm in the market for a black wallet cord now.

I rotate mine with my IHG-035. I’ll get some pics next time I see it. I’ve done some more mods, removing the silver o-ring and loop it was attached to, and replacing the brass swivel hook I’d installed with a brass shackle.

I really dig the IH brass chains, but they are a statement for sure. I have a calfskin wallet leash (also IH but extinct), on mine now.

@Filthy has the black braided IH one, which is the same as my tan. They are pretty awesome. You could try and track one down.

Does the wallet mold to your behind?

Did any of you just get used to it after a while?

It is a unit for sure. It does mould to you but it will always be about an inch thick. And you do get used to it.

Putting mine back in rotation. Here are the pics as promised. The Cordovan is insanely good. Very hard wearing, and retains it shine.

You can see how it has curved.

Looks awesome @neph93 thanks for sharing. I am using a similar looking cord with mine too. Switched it over after trying the brass chain that was a little much, even for me.

After I posted this question I looked online to find how to treat what I think was white powdered mold of some kind eveywhere inside my wallet. Most solutions suggested white vinegar, dish soap, baking soda and warm water and buffing the leather with a microfiber towel. With some elbow grease, I thought I removed it. Used Saphir leather conditioner afterwards.

It keeps coming back though, evey few weeks. I don't see as much of it but it's enough to notice. Does anyone know how to prevent it from happening?

@Oaktavia I didn't see your original post, but there's a chance this is just "spew" - oils in the leather migrating to the surface and crystallising. You could try giving it a good brushing next time it comes back.

Is it only on the inside calf leather?
You could try the saphir leather cleaner , it’s mild and not aggressive to the leather.
