Just pimped my 14oz IB with copper snaps. Or at least that’s what I thought … instead, I got a non-returnable half copper / half steel “snapped” shirt. I’ve asked the team to send me the original snaps and will try to put them back on.

Why offer different snap tones if not changing them entirely?

For comparison, here’s how my (worn) 292 18oz looks like with full copper snaps - amazing. And here’s my bi-tonal 14oz …

                  Brass HD back in stock

Are these brass snaps compatible with the IHSH-305-BLK 13oz Heavy Solid Flannel CPO shirt? I have one but I'd love to change out the buttons with these brass snaps instead.

                    Hey @SilverKast

I am afraid that snap upgrades can only go on shirts that have snaps on them already and we can not replace buttons for snaps.

We have some awesome Good Art buttons (out of stock but arriving soon) that will add some extra extra to the IHSH-305-BLK !

Hiii !!! Just to be sure, if i want to upgrade a chambray for example with 2 diamond snaps 1 for each pockets, i just have to select the diamond snaps on the product page and put "2" for the quantities right ? my question might feel stupid but as the details section says "price is per shirt / set of snaps" and because my english is far from being perfect i am sometimes a bit confused ^^ So i put 2 in the quantity and i got 2 snaps for 36 euros 18 * 2 snaps right ?

Hey @Raisinoux - You will must need to order '1'

Buying '1' snap upgrade is for the whole shirt. If you only would like 2 snaps on the shirt changed then you can ask us to send you the other 13/14 snaps as spares (lightweight snaps can be installed with pliers and a mallet) or you can leave them behind at HQ.

@Graham is that the most requested snap upgrade?  If not, what do most people request?

I would say that copper is most definetly the most popular HD snap with pearl second and brass bringing up the rear in limited numbers.

IH logo chest pocket is for sure the most popular place for a single snap or botton (on work shirt) but out customers surprise us all the time and go all over the shirt, cuffs, bottom button on the placket. There are no wrong choices!

@Graham Very cool to know.  Are all of the workshirt buttons sewn on by hand (logical assumption) or do you use a machine?

Is there a particular brand/type/weight of thread that you use for buttons?  and I guess it would depend on the item being sewn…
