Gigantic bass lure a friend made years ago. It’s about 6” tip to tail. Not sure what I’m going to do with it but it won’t be used as a lure.

On that note, I am off to Oman for a few days tomorrow.  I'm going to be very remote and suspect that for periods I will not have internet access, but if I do, I hope to post a few pics of large GT's - our target species…..

We sent the little guys up the cabin with my in laws so I could do some tiling in peace. Safe to say, they had the best time. Trout and char from under the ice…

Replacing bust rings on the last three casualties

FAAAAARK.  I applied the second coat of self-levelling 2-part hardener, and wondered why it was not going off.  I mixed hardener with hardener (not the friggin resin)…

What a twat.....

… been there before!! Even tried adding heat to speed up the reaction...just wouldn't set.

How is it so frigging difficult?  I only realised when I took the caps off the tubs to check whether I had enough for a third coat, and the resin was practically full, and the hardener practically empty….
