I didn’t have one yet. 634 is my cut since my thighs don’t fit in the XHS 666 and I need room for the engineers haha.
I can’t wait for them to arrive. My 634 OD suffer from moving houses at the moment…

The 634 is my fave cut (need that room for my thighs, too) and I love the XHS version even more. Bummed I can't wear them rn as they're due for a repair on the button holes at the fly. Would love to see some fit pics when you get them in, @Dmart!

Looking good, @Dmart! I love the 634 cut but especially when it's in the XHS (I'm wearing them as I type this).

For me the best cut. The rise just as I like it, enough room in the top block, can easily fit over boots, my thighs fit in without losing blood circulation.
Now the wait is on for the UHR…

I appreciate that folks have different tastes and prefer different fits but the thing about 634 for me is how it works with 11" engineer boots.  I'm not sure I "need" that extra hem to fit over the boots but I much prefer the look and overall fit.  As I touch my 65th year I think of engineers as the velcro sneakers of my dotage–-I mean when I finally can't bend over to tie my shoes, I won't have to.

I too eagerly look forward to the UHR.  I have an old pair of 777UHR and as much as I love the denim they aren't quite as good with those smokestack lightening engineers.

Interesting–I find a tighter hem works much better with tall-shafted boots because they tend to get hung up and stack on the top of the shafts for me.

I think it depends on the definition of tight. If I need surgeon accuracy to fit the hem over the boot, it’s too tight for me.

The good light I had for the front went away before I could snap a photo of the back. About a year in…Mostly been sitting on the couch and barely leaving the house over the last year, so probably on the lighter side of wear. Certainly enjoying them!.

I love these 634XHS!!!

I tried this cut first with a pair of slubby denim and did not like the lighter nature of the 16oz with the loose cut. I figured I'd try again with XHS and I found what I was looking for.

While I love my 777XHSbb and 777XHSib, these are a nice change of pace. I'm really loving the big, chonky beginnings of honeycombs with this pair. Totally what I was going for. I am going to enjoy giving these a beating.

I think that is the classic Heritage 50s,501 look,which I love. See Marlon Brando in the Wild One. Not sure if you’ve lost weight or the jeans make you look skinnier. All you need now is an Old Harley Panhead to ride around on. That belt is perfect with those!

I soaked them with the hottest water that came from our tub tap, same as my 777XHSbb. I read somewhere on here yesterday that you haven't tried 634 before. This tag 36 was 36.5 waist- so a little big for my 35/36 waist. I could wear a half size down for a slimmer look but that wasn't what I'm after with these. Loosey goosey.

I lose and gain 10 pounds here there year after year.

That's what I was going for, classic heritage look. I don't think I would like it a lighter denim though, just XHS. I need to watch that movie, though I think I may have seen it before.

I love the belt with them too- Brandon's Instagram is @bwiessleather for anyone who may be interested. Really rad dude who loves to talk all things leather. It's super heavy and thick which works with XHS to keep them in place, no fuckin' around.
