Not remotely my favourite, but it's what I'm drinking with the locals - AND, "time and place" is so important to the experience,  (If you've tried to drink Retsina in anything other than a shitty cheap Greek seaside joint, it tastes like shite, but in that moment, it is nectar…...)

@Matt  nice… very nice indeed. We got Prairie up here but at 25USD for 330ml I tend to steer clear.

You and me both @neph93  That four pack was $35 for four 12oz bottles and the glass was “free.”  They’re individually priced around $10.  I don’t get the Prarie stuff often but I occasionally splurge.

They make a mean sour too.

I have to check tomorrow if Christmas BOMB! has arrived in St Louis. As for sours, I really enjoyed their Rainbow Sherbert this summer. Couldnt drink more than one in a sitting but it was a really fun beer.

Love Three Floyds! Dark Lord and other RIS of theirs are legendary so I know they can make a stout, but I love Dreadnaught (one of my all-time favorite IIPAs), Zombie Dust, and Alpha King. Just a great, great brewery.

Well, I've discovered that I now am allergic to beer. And not like how alcoholics say they are allergic… I'm getting severe migraines any time I drink any beer. They say it is a histamine response or something. I'm still not feeling great from having a couple yesterday. My head was hurting so bad I thought I was having a stroke of something. Looks like no more beer for me. I'm pretty bummed out about it.

But seriously, my wife has something similar with certain red wines (my hypothesis is ones with lots of sulfites). 1-2 glasses and a terrible morning the next day. Sorry man.

Look at the bright side, you’ll shed those pandemic pounds that much quicker now.  I went from one a day to one a week.  Huge difference.
