We proposed this concept to Haraki last year, he said he would think about it but we haven't heard back. I have just asked him again.

While I know there's been some kind of pink "pig" UHF, either a rerun or another lighter red flannel would be great.  Maybe not even a flannel, but a solid color way ala the 7oz soft flannel, love that fabric.

Also, maybe a less "all over" patterned flannel?  Something a little more color blocked or cut from a "larger" pattern (like flannels sewn from blanket leftovers) that would feature heavy variance from shirt to shirt?  I love a good check as much as the next guy, but I feel like the flannel patterning could expand (maybe I haven't been around long enough?)

I don't think that's chambray and I'm not even sure a chambray herringbone is physically possible unless the pattern were printed on the fabric since chambray is a plan weave and herringbone is typically (if not always) a twill.

@steelworker , I am afraid @mclaincausey is right.  A herringbone plain weave is impossible….
