I got one of those Bissell Crosswave Pet Pros on Prime Day for free (with hotel points) and I'll admit I am really impressed by how well it works. I mean, it works a lot better that the Dyson and a mop I usually use. It's not perfect and seems like it could use a little more suction. But it did do a really good job cleaning my hardwood floors. I wouldn't pay full price for it. But if you have lots of critters in your house and can get a deal on one, I'd check it out.

Yeah, she’s a shelter dog so she’s part pit bull/part everything else.  We almost passed on her because they said she was “destructive.”  So far all she’s destroying is that nap time.  She’s awesome.

I’m slowly going to introduce her to sleeping in bed once she has crate and house training down (my wife doesn’t know this).  Honestly, she handles both amazingly considering her age and the assessment from the shelter.  We saw her online and planned on meeting her but she was adopted while we were on vacation last week and returned after 3 days so we didn’t think she was there.  We think they just didn’t pay attention to her and let her roam the house without keeping tabs in her.  We’re so lucky they were dumbasses.
