The rod I made for my back will be "fastlavnbolle" for the combined Norwegian Mother's Day/Valentine's Day tomorrow. I'm doing the Swedish version called Semlor, which calls for a bun dough, filled with a rough marzipan and whipped cream. They are supposed to look like this:

As I am sure many of you guys are finding, lockdown is really starting to get to Kira and I. Not that I normally don a tux for Valentine’s Day, but we haven’t got dressed up for anything in a while so we decided to go all out at home

We had:
Lobster risotto. Duck, chicory and dauphinois potatoes. Chocolate fondant

I made some panko breaded cod and mac n cheese for Ash Wednesday. But the cod tasted like ammonia so idkwtf. I had to pitch it.

I was so jacked off about the fish being bad I forgot to take a picture of the the mac 'n cheese plated so here's a close up of a spoonful.
