What type of detergent do folks use for washing IH Shirts?

Shop detergent is fine. I wash them how I’d wash any clothes, that is what they are after all.

The only exception is indigo shirts on their first wash. They still get a regular detergent, machine wash, but they get soaked first.

Do you think this can be fixed or should I dub the whole leather to make it even again?

Unless you particularly want to dub them, I would leave it alone for a bit and wear them a lot. Regular wear will make the change less obvious. Also, have you used the steel bristles on a proper suede brush on it? That may get rid of dried particles and restore some of the structure.

I picked up a pair of the Giesswein wool tops.

They are very soft in terms of structure. I wouldn’t describe them as high end but are well made and certainly do the job.  Appreciate may not be to your taste but Would certainly get another pair when these die as they are very comfortable and regulate the temperature of my feet well.

Big fan of wool socks. As a matter of fact its all ive worn for probably 20 years. Dress, sport, and boot. Was surfing the interwebs for a shirt and well, ordered my first wool shirt. Pendleton. 2x. Measurements “looked” ok so hoping it fits well. Excited to receive my 2nd major shirt. First being the Ciano Farmer custom selvedge.

I've owned Pendelton Board Shirts and their Canyon shirts in the past. They're pretty nice and the wool is definitely warm. The sizing has been pretty consistent for me. They tend to run quite large. For example, I wear 3XL or 4XL in Iron Heart and the Large Tall Pendleton shirts fit me.

Hi there. Firstly, the market has a large say in pricing, and it is up to the individual to decide what they want. If it was me I’d drop the price to around 10-15% off retail.

Secondly, are you sure they are too small? For many having a pair that are a little tight when new is the perfect starting point. All denim will stretch with wear and the 21oz actually stretches quite easily, often over an inch in the waist and up to half an inch in the thigh. If you are willing to endure a couple of days of discomfort you may find you have the perfect pair.

I would recommend the "black" detergents, for example Woolite Black.  Many of the other detergents contain fluorescents which shift UV light in the environment into the visible spectrum and therefore make your clothes appear brighter.  You can test if a detergent contains brighteners with a black light.

Brighteners can make denim look less natural.  I don't like it for my flannels either.  Don't worry if you've washed your IH with detergents containing brighteners, washing them again with a black detergent will remove fluorescents.

I have this question, but first let me tell ya how I started my IH adventure. My first pair was 666 19oz lefty denim V2 jeans tag 36. This was the only size i could fit my tights in. I have been wearing these jeans since Nov 24th non stop and I love the electric blue fades that started to appear. I decided to buy two more pairs and decided on 666 21oz indigo tag 34 and 777 21oz OD tag 35 jeans. Both pairs fit and feel great. I cant believe how soft the 666 21oz indigo denim is. Back to my question, my 666 19oz lefties feel sturdiest and heaviest(literally) vs, 666S 21oz and 777 21oz OD pairs?? Not that I am complaining (love all 3 pairs), but out of my curiosity I thought that 19oz will be lighter than 21oz denim… I am just fascinated how these garments are made, and I would like to know the difference between different denim weights. My only problem is the rotation, since Id like to wear all three pairs every day, LoL.
                                            Thanks!
