More people need to get on the 463 train! That cut is so good. My pair doesn’t seem to fit right now, dammit 2020.

I would be all over an IHW-06.  Maybe dark burgundy?

I'm currently fading a 526J-DD and man, you guys need to make more things in this fabric.  IIRC, it didn't sell well but I can't imagine people not wanting this.  It has this weird almost thick-paper feel to it.  It's probably the most initially uncomfortable jacket that I've ever tried on but the fades are so sweet.  Kinda like a brighter indigo/black fade.  And it's very comfortable after about a couple of dozen wears.  I would pick up a work shirt or western in a heartbeat.

Clint D has some epic engineer jeans made out of the Double Indigo duck.

Sadly, I think double indigo canvas kinda flopped for a bunch of people.

Roy’s Black & Blue canvas jeans went to warehousesale  at SE I believe

MFSC Anniversary CPO took months to sell through at SE

And the IH DD was amazing, but also slow seller after the initial loombreakers were delivered.

              I agree it faded brilliantly.

I gotta say that I'm constantly amazed at your encyclopedic knowledge on this stuff.  You and Reuben should get together and write a book 🙂

Ha, yes, I read about it in some other thread.  Couldn't recall which.  I would absolutely read that book.

The indigo/indigo duck did not sell well in any anything other than the extraordinarily small run we did of "loombreakers":

                          https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=7475.msg402019#msg402019

The run was small because we bust one of the Toyoda looms:

                          https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=6472.msg364233#msg364233

So we used the rest of the yarn on a projectile loom to make a non-selvedge version of the fabric.

                          And that sold like crap.

So it will not be being made again. Period.

So you're saying I have a pair of jeans that are almost impossible to get your hands on… but no one's looking to anyways!!!!

I still love them, and I care about their feelings. They are sensitive, even though were tough enough to break the loom.

I'm not a very talented man, but I was blessed with a nearly photographic memory and a love for the retail experience… which means I am good at two things: remembering things from an exceptionally long time ago, and getting immersed in products I am connected with. I am always a habitual website lurker, and also love the buying patterns, consumer habits side of things. I worked retail and retail management for about 7 years before entering the marketing world. I try to remain as close to the retail experience as I can, and for me that means staying as up to date on trends and consumer patterns as possible.

About 6 years ago, before all of my money was taken from my children, I had a dream of opening a Self Edge type store in Austin, and having my brother run it when he finished school.

While that dream will never happen, I have still toyed around with the idea of managing a small artisan men's shop down here, something that would run similarly to SEMX, with an emphasis on tropical themed wears for tourists to indulge upon while they are here, and also introduce high end workwear to the area, which is essentially run by guys driving range rovers and 100K pick up trucks to their developments and construction sites, which is a fitting aesthetic for the market actually.  Sadly, rent, labor, and cost of living here is quite high (as you would expect).

We have a few shops that "dabble" in western and work themes gear, but it's never done right in my mind.

I am sure someone asked me where the fitpics of the 14oz denim work pants were.  I can't find that post (I don't have a near-photographic memory @Appfaff  😃 ).

@Chesson has hemmed them, and confirmed they are indeed, not too much hassle.

                                      It's now dark - photos tomorrow….
